PJS / Thimes Excavation specializes in site and utility excavation for all size projects. A Wisconsin based company, we also travel through out the United States to perform projects for our allied partners . Our portfolio consists of private, municipal, and government projects, ranging from waste water treatment plants, industrial and office, airports, solar farms, and data centers. Our focus is to provide an inclusive service for the electrical and utility contractor.
PJS / Thimes Excavation is a local 139 signatory company and we have a strong bond with our out of state unions as well.
PJS development / Thimes Excavation was created to focus mainly on servicing our electrical and utility partners. Tim Himes who is co owner, and over sees all operations, has been in the industry for 30 + years. With a back ground in Masonry, Excavation, Landscaping, and business management, Tim also is a journeyman operating engineer, and has certifications in masonry, and OSHA safety. Our team members are all well trained, and come with extensive experience in all aspects of our profession. All of our operators are fully prepared to do what it takes to get the job done, including assisting the in the field workers, in times of labor shortages. Our mission is to create working relationships and provide the best services to our customers as if we were all one big company / family.
At PJS / Thimes Excavation safety is priority for our team as well as others on our project sites. We conform to all OSHA requirements as well as our own in place safety program which includes drug and alcohol testing, OSHA 10 certifications, daily job hazard analysis, operators are trained properly for the equipment they are running, PPE's are required for all on site crews, and all equipment is checked daily to be working properly and free from safety issues.
